Community Table

Wednesday, July 1

5:15 – 7 PM

Join us for Created to Create, an intergenerational evening of dinner, fellowship, music, and prayerful creativity. As Colossians 3 reminds us to let the word of Christ dwell among us as we teach and encourage one another through music and creating in response to God’s love, we invite all ages to come together in community. Through shared music, conversation, and creative expression, we’ll celebrate the variety of gifts God has given each of us and discover the joy of creating side by side.

One of the exciting activities will be a drum circle! Experience the joy of making music together in a welcoming, interactive community drum circle led by Greg and Dakarai Ince of the SIMAR Center for Performing Arts. Through rhythm and fun call-and-response activities, participants of all ages will discover how music can bring people together across generations and backgrounds.

No musical experience is required! Drums will be provided, and everyone is invited to participate at their own comfort level. Together, we’ll explore the rich traditions of drumming while celebrating creativity, connection, and the unique gifts each person brings to our community.
