Welcome to Kirk Club!

 

For Kids Third – Fifth Grade

            Kirk is a common Presbyterian word, coming from Scottish roots, meaning “Church”) is a group for 3rd-5th graders at the church. It meets in the Fellowship House once a month (usually the first Sunday) for an hour after church, 11:15-12:30. Kirk Club will consist of community building and faith formation — after all, we have to play together before we can pray together. We’ll snack, play games, do activities, and have meaningful conversations about faith. See the schedule below:

  • Jan. 26 — All-in-One Night 5 pm-6:45 pm

    Kirk Club, middle school, and high school will separately rotate through stations as we gather for dinner, games, crafts, faith-formation, and more… All in one night! This All-in-One Night will center around mental health and wellness.

  • Feb. 1 — Psalm Together Now (off site at the All-Church Retreat!)

  • Mar. 16 — Milestone Bible Presentation in worship
  • Apr. 6 — Psalms & Mental Health
  • May 30June 1 — Kirk Club Spring Retreat: Kirk Club ends each season with a lock-in and we’ll dive into the theme for our PasportKIDS trip!

  • Feb. 23, Mar. 2, Mar. 9 (11am) — Spring Small Groups for all ages after worship!
  • Apr. 20 (11am) — Easter Butterfly Release after Easter service!

  • PassportKIDS CampJune 30 – July 3 — 3rd-6th grade — A first conference experience for older kids/younger youth in Montreat!
