These young disciples have opportunities to grow in faith and learn in ways that engage all their unique learning styles.

Children's Worship

Children’s worship is offered for children ages 4 through 2nd grade. Children begin in the Sanctuary-worship service with their families and are then invited to go to children’s worship where they explore their faith with other children and trained adult leaders. Based on Montessori principles, children’s worship invites children to grow in Christian faith through Godly play, interactive stories, and independent wonder. Children’s worship is held in a classroom of the building across the parking lot.

Faithful Families I

January 21st

This spring, kids and families will gather after worship for lunch, fun, and faith formation off site. With your child, you will build a “faith-at-home toolbox” to help you practice faith formation at home. You’ll put together a literal box with weekly activities to take you and your family through ordinary time, through Lent, and into Easter! There will also be unstructured play and time for fellowship between parents! If you can’t make it, you can always pick up a box after-the-fact.

Lenten KidsMin Small Groups

2/18, 2/25, 3/3, 3/10
ORPC will engage in a limited-time four week small group ministry over the first four Sundays of Lent! For four Sundays in Lent (2/18, 2/25, 3/3, 3/10), small groups will gather around the church campus for an hour after worship (11:15am-12:15pm). Each small group has an awesome topical theme based around deepening faith and ways to engage in scripture, so you can find a way to connect no matter your interests! Kirk Club’s small group will learn about the words to the Lord’s Prayer. They will spend some time combined with the PreK-2nd grade small group but breakout on their own for other parts! Faithful Families II

April 21st

Take two of our Faithful Families gathering! We’ll have more fun with lunch and play while refreshing that box you made in January! Gather more supplies and activities for weekly faith activities to practice at home to last you through the summer. No preparation needed! Didn’t make it to part one? That’s totally fine! You can either refresh an existing box OR create a whole new one! This is a space just for our PreK-2nd graders and their families since they are such a strong group in their own right!
