Adult Ministry at ORPC
Adult faith formation at ORPC takes many different forms. There are specific groups you can join (such as our women’s Book study), there are intergenerational opportunities such as in small groups, opportunities to study with our Pastor, and pop-up opportunities. We value adult faith formation because we never stop learning more about our faith – God is always revealing more of God’s self to us, and we are called to faithfully listen for God’s voice and God’s guiding hand in our lives.
Lenten Soup and Sound
Wednesdays in Lent (2/21, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20)
6-7 pm
Each Wednesday during Lent, join us in the Sanctuary for a shared meal of soup (all soup provided free of charge!) and wonderful musical offerings from leading musicians from around the Triad & the state! This ministry space will be open every Wednesday from 6-7pm and guides us toward Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice on the cross and resurrection on Easter.
Adult/Youth Small Groups
February 18, February 25, March 3, March 10
After worship
Lenten small groups are BACK! Through our theme of "Growing Deeper" you can choose from multiple small group options to grow in faith, learn about Jesus, and create faithful communities. These small groups will meet the first four Sundays of lent (for an hour after worship around the Sanctuary building. There will be intergenerational classes for youth and adults; as well as classes for KidsMin & Confirmands. Can't come every week? That's absolutely okay! We'd rather you come the weeks you're around than none at all!
